Sunday

I had a really good night’s rest. I woke up around nine in the morning and found myself locked in my room. Apparently a part of the keyhole broke into pieces when I was trying to unlock the door.

Arjun, also an intern who visits the dormitory from time to time had to break the door. Thanks Arjun who’s by the way from Holland too.

One thing that I love about Indonesia is GoJek. This app which can be downloaded from the play store or apple store for free can get you almost anything delivered to you. Install it and see what GoJek has to offer. So we ordered breakfast using GoJek. They had our Nasi Goreng Ikan Asin, and some Krupup delivered to our door step.

Another great thing about Indonesia is their service providers. I had Indosat Ooredoo as my provider. I’d say they offer the best deals when it comes to Internet surfing. Unlimited data usage for a month for only 75,000 Rupiahs.

Banjarmasin is known for several tourist attractions like, Bakantan Mascot, Siring, Floating Market, Pulau Kembang and more. We were told we are to visit each and every destination. I can’t wait to see them all.

To end my great day, our buddies got food for us from Flamboyam called Ayam Penyet.

Monday is the beginning of work. I’m finally seeing the school I’m being deployed into. Check the Monday blog to see.

Word of the Day: Hati-hati – take care

My partner from Saint Louis University got really sick today. I better be cautious. Hati-hati.
